The Cyber Resilience Senior Solutions Architect at Pure owns the end to end solutions product lifecycle and roadmap across data protection & cyber security integrations with Pure Storage products and platforms.  These solutions are integrated architectures between Pure product platforms with strategic and emerging third party alliances.  This critical position is accountable for defining technical solutions requirements and value based proof points based on enterprise customer market demands, strategic market trends and competitive storage landscape, to create, and execute a solutions product roadmap for this key technology area. This role is a cornerstone of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team consisting of solutions architects and engineers, outbound Growth PMs, Core Product PMs, TME, Alliances owners and external Alliance partner PMs.  As a Pure Solutions Manager, you will have company-wide impact within Pure and Pure’s strategic partners.  Success in this role requires in-depth knowledge of the enterprise datacenter infrastructure market including hardware and software platform vendors and the intersection of cyber-resilience, data resilience, and global regulatory requirements.

  • Utilize deep understanding of Cyber Resilience needs in the enterprise customer market coupled with deep technical context of data storage challenges to creatively architect solutions, then manage them from concept through implementation and delivery and adoption into the market.  
  • Evaluate and prioritize a point of view on which areas within the larger cybersecurity domain will yield solutions that solve critical problems for data-driven systems that will directly and indirectly drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a solutions roadmap driven by customer needs, technical, market and competitive insights for both training and servicing models.
  • Actively lead and drive internal and external cross-functional teams to strategic consensus on vision, execution and outcome.
  • Own the technical relationship with Alliances vendors up to the Executive Product level between Pure and Alliances product teams to strategically align vision and execution of shared roadmap.
  • Consult with customers, industry experts and partners to capture requirements for Cyber Resilience solutions as well as continually evaluating technology alliance partner capabilities for integrations and development. 
  • Create and evangelize perspectives surrounding Pure’s Cyber-resilience Solutions strategy via digital and in person presence throughout the technical market ecosystem.
  • Interlock and collaborate with internal cross functional stakeholders including Product Business Units, CTO office, Field Solutions Architects, Alliances, and Marketing with the objective of alignment and solution development.  
  • Secure the production of necessary product features for creation of strategic solutions company-wide for delivery of competitively differentiated, data-centric cyber-resilience solutions.
  • Own the ecosystem strategy of across cyber-resilience and data protection partners, with an eye to those that have greatest potential for solutions and alliances development, prioritized according to alignment of technology fit, willingness to work with Pure, and ability to deliver customer-driven solutions jointly with Pure.
  • Engage and enable Pure’s go to market field teams and channel partners. 
  • Work with teams to support the sales process and drive the overall customer engagement model as well as supporting in closing early adopters for Security solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Energy - Pure is a fast paced, innovative environment where a growth mindset and creative thinking are a pre-requisite along with the experience and perspective to command the role of a successful PM.
  • 7+ years experience in developing or selling Enterprise Storage customer solutions in data protection and Cyber resilience.
  • A passionate drive for delivering market leading solutions that sales teams leverage to differentiate Pure in the enterprise.
  • Commanding knowledge of the NIST cybersecurity framework and how data storage platforms play a role across each area in order to increase security effectiveness throughout all stages cyber security from prevention to cyber-recovery.
  • Experience deploying secured workloads on modern systems platforms, including familiarity with DevSecOps development frameworks and tools for maximizing solutions adoptions and efficiency.
  • Ability to map security technologies to business opportunities that address customer pain points.
  • In-depth knowledge of key cyber-security technology companies, with the ability to prioritize relevance to Pure’s strengths and a drive to evolve internal priorities as the technology and key players themselves evolve.
  • Understanding of global regulatory requirements in cyber-security and the role of Storage in addressing those requirements.
  • Proven product management track record taking an idea from concept, to cross-functional agreement, through build, and release to market.
  • Solid communication and cross-functional management skills to lead and work with multiple stakeholders (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales) to get your ideas realized in the market.
  • Experience working with Product Management and Solutions Engineering teams on requirements definition and value based criteria generation.
  • Executive presence combined with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Experience and ability to work with a global team.
  • Practical experience in customer adoption of solutions.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast moving environment.
  • Strong understanding of the operations and motivations of large enterprise companies and challenges in different verticals.
  • Must be willing and able to travel where relevant as part of the role.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.  #LI-ONSITE

 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:

$199,000 - $299,000 USD
