THE TEAM

Our customers love FlashArray and FlashBlade, our flagship products, for their simplicity, continuous innovation, and ability to stay on the cutting edge of technology without ever experiencing downtime. We recently extended FlashArray's capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. These innovations enable customers to leverage the public cloud's agility for both traditional IT and cloud-native applications.

The Sizing & Metrics Services (SMS) team in Prague specializes in providing company-wide solutions for performance and capacity modeling simulation, as well as real-time analytics for Pure Storage appliances. Our mission is to deliver accurate and reliable information for hardware and software sizing, enabling critical business decisions and supporting product and platform development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and implement creative algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems (think six nines).
• Take ownership of innovation from concept to a shipped product.
• Analyze and solve challenging problems with persistence and insight.
• Collaborate with smart colleagues who inspire you and are inspired by you.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, as it's at the core of what we do.
• Learn and grow, regardless of your prior experience with system software and data storage hardware.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience using Python (or similar languages like Ruby, Go, or Scala), ideally with some experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience as a user of AWS, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, GitHub, and JIRA (or similar systems).
• A natural curiosity, proven design sensibility, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Experience in distributed systems, operating systems, Linux Kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization is a plus.
