THE ROLE
As a Senior Manager of Professional Services Architects, you will lead a high-impact team of Architects dedicated to transforming how enterprise customers manage and scale their data. You will serve as a strategic bridge between technical innovation and business value, ensuring our most complex global accounts achieve measurable success. By fostering a culture of mentorship and high performance, you will empower your team to deliver resilient, world-class solutions while collaborating closely with Sales and Engineering leaders to drive Pure’s market growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and Scale Talent: Recruit, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Architects, utilizing regular performance development and strategic feedback to ensure the team evolves alongside our rapidly growing product portfolio.
- Drive Customer Outcomes: Oversee the delivery of targeted, scalable data management solutions, managing the end-to-end service history and environment requirements to ensure peak customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Strategic Sales Partnership: Collaborate with Sales and Systems Engineering during pre-sales engagements to present compelling service value propositions, ensuring our professional services offerings are aligned with customer business goals from day one.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to provide direct field feedback, influencing the design and launch of new services that address evolving enterprise needs and competitive market shifts.
- Operational Excellence: Lead and implement global Professional Services and Customer Experience initiatives, taking ownership of critical escalations to resolve complex workflow challenges and maintain Pure’s reputation for excellence.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Leadership Mastery: Proven ability to build, inspire, and scale professional services organizations, with a focus on developing technical talent and fostering a collaborative, high-accountability team culture.
- Strategic Business Acumen: Expertise in navigating the professional services lifecycle—from pre-sales strategy to delivery—within the enterprise software or data storage industry.
- Consultative Communication: Executive-level presence with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners, comfortably leading difficult conversations and translating complex technical challenges into clear business value.
- Customer-Centric Problem Solving: A track record of managing large-scale enterprise or global accounts, with the ability to independently solve complex workflow problems and mitigate risks in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Collaborative Technical Insight: Deep understanding of the SDLC process and the competitive landscape of data management, enabling you to build a distinct competitive advantage through superior service delivery.
- Travel 10% - 15%

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:
$123,000 - $265,000 USD
