Sales Enablement Business Partner (Tokyo)

THE ROLE
You will own the local enablement execution layer for Japan so that APJ selling skills programmes are fully localised, delivered well, reinforced by local leaders, and adopted in the field with credibility and consistency. This role ensures that APJ skills development design becomes real in Japan – local, usable, reinforced, and adopted. You will work closely with Japan sales leaders, managers, and sellers to understand business priorities, identify capability gaps, and co‑create enablement that improves pipeline quality, win rates, deal velocity, and seller confidence. You will play a key role in designing, localising, and delivering programs that are relevant to the Japan market, leveraging AI tools to scale and personalise content and learning experiences. You will partner with the Global Enablement team while acting as the Japan voice of the field, ensuring that global frameworks, methodologies, and content translate into practical, high‑impact experiences for Japan.
You will report to the Sales Enablement Leader and be based in the Everpure Tokyo Office, and your primary sales audience scope will be the local AE, PAM, SE, PTM populations as relevant to the country plan as well as the local sales leaders who must inspect and coach.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Pre-boarding
- localize role readiness paths for Japan
- ensure new-hire manager expectations are clear
- prepare local examples and market overlays
Onboarding
- localise and deliver Japan onboarding overlays
- ensure content lands in local language and local context
- provide local readiness checks and manager follow-up
Ramping
- run Japan-specific follow-up for 30/60/90/180-day milestones
- support leaders with local call review, coaching prompts, and deal inspection packs
- identify local barriers to adoption early
Driving sales productivity, capability and performance recovery
- localise APJ and global programmes for Japan & run Japan workshops, clinics, and local reinforcement
- feedback to APJ what is not landing, what needs simplification, and what needs stronger local examples
- support high-value local priorities, strategic accounts, executive engagement, and country-led business themes
- identify Japan-specific gaps in uptake, leader reinforcement, or field use & intervene with programme correction
Owning content management (incl. AI Enabled Content & Tools), delivery, reinforcement and adoption
- localisation of APJ capability development content for Japan, incl. language adaptation
- local proof points and examples (scenarios)
- simplification where content is too global or too abstract
- Lead local Japan workshops/manager sessions/reinforcement clinics
- leader briefing packs for Japan as well as manager guides
- local coaching prompts / inspection questions
- local attendance and completion visibility
- local manager follow-through visibility and post workshop follow up
- field use of localised tools. Ensure content and tools are maintained, current, and easily discoverable via Sales Portal, LMS, and other systems.

WHAT YOU BRING
To excel in this role, you should have:
-
highly credible in Japan field environment through strong enterprise sales management or sales leadership background with a clear understanding of the full sales rep lifecycle
- Native or near‑native Japanese and strong business English required
- capable of live facilitation, coaching and leader influence, strong in execution, not just coordination or programme management, rollup sleeves mindset
- understands local selling rhythm and decision culture
- Strong business acumen with the ability to link enablement initiatives to pipeline, forecast, and revenue outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and make them actionable.
- Highly collaborative, able to work across functions, regions, and time zones, and influence without direct authority.
- Proactive, creative, and innovative problem solver with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with evolving priorities.
