THE ROLE

As Principal Product Manager for FlashBlade Systems, you will establish the multi-year architectural strategy, hardware roadmap, and market expansion vision for Everpure's flagship scale-out platform. Recognized as an industry expert, you will evaluate complex market variables to define next-generation technologies that drive long-term business success for high-performance and AI workloads. You will partner directly with C-suite executives, Engineering, Supply Chain, and global customer leadership to convert visionary concepts into market-defining hardware solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Pioneer Multi-Year Platform Strategy: Formulate and champion the overarching hardware vision for the FlashBlade portfolio, aligning future platform architecture with high-growth market demands in AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.

  • Drive Full Lifecycle Governance: Oversee end-to-end hardware portfolio decisions—from conceptual design through commercial growth and strategic end-of-life transitions—to maximize revenue impact and platform margins.

  • Orchestrate Executive & Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the authoritative voice for FlashBlade hardware strategy across executive advisory boards, steering committee reviews, and strategic customer engagements.

  • Optimize Portfolio Economics & Scalability: Analyze market dynamics, supply chain constraints, and platform margin signals to make critical performance, cost, and reliability trade-offs.

  • Expand Platform Subsystem Capabilities: Partner with Subsystems and Platform Engineering teams to integrate emerging fabrics, networking, and media components that reinforce FlashBlade’s market-leading performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Principal-Level Strategic Vision: Expertise in driving enterprise infrastructure product strategy, establishing long-term product roadmaps, and leading complex, company-wide architectural initiatives.

  • Full Hardware Lifecycle Mastery: Proven capability managing large-scale hardware platform portfolios across all phases of the product life cycle while balancing unit economics, supply chains, and market delivery.

  • Executive & Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of negotiating critical strategic decisions and building alignment among C-level leaders and external executives.

  • Deep Systems Architecture Acumen: Technical mastery of scale-out storage systems, high-performance computing architectures, data center hardware co-design, and modern cloud deployment models.

  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:

$198,000 - $297,000 USD
