Member of Technical Staff- Firmware Engineer
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Join the team pioneering enterprise storage technology by building Pure’s proprietary Direct Flash Module (DFM)—the core innovation that gives FlashArray and FlashBlade an unbeatable edge over off-the-shelf SSDs. You will work across the entire data path, NAND media management, and low-level hardware interfaces to integrate cutting-edge QLC NAND, NVMe/PCIe, and custom controllers. In close partnership with hardware, Purity software, and drive qualification teams, you will directly influence how world-changing companies interact with their data at massive scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Drive Core Firmware Innovation: Design, implement, and test low-level embedded C/C++ firmware features and custom NAND media management algorithms that directly maximize storage performance, density, and reliability.
-
Enable Next-Gen Hardware: Lead bring-up and integration efforts for state-of-the-art NAND media, microcontrollers, and SoC hardware components, ensuring rapid adoption of emerging media technologies.
-
Elevate Quality & Simulation Tools: Build advanced firmware simulation environments, failure analysis processes, and Python-based automation frameworks (CI, unit, and regression testing) to shorten development feedback loops.
-
Deliver Cross-Functional Impact: Partner end-to-end with hardware, system software, and manufacturing teams to deliver fully integrated, high-availability storage modules from concept through release.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Firmware & Embedded Systems Mastery: Deep hands-on experience developing low-level embedded software or device firmware using C/C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of microcontrollers, SoCs, or hardware bring-up.
-
Storage & Flash Domain Expertise: Solid background in NAND flash, SSD device firmware architecture, or media management policies, alongside a practical command of software/firmware test and release lifecycles.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex hardware-software interactions and communicate effectively across interdisciplinary engineering teams.
-
Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
