Overview:
As a Telehealth Therapist specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and mental health, you will play a pivotal role within our care team. Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary professionals, you will deliver a full spectrum of supportive services to patients, emphasizing harm reduction, sustained recovery, and continuity of care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth counseling sessions for SUD and/or mental health disorders using PursueCare’s platform and EHR system.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, facilitating ongoing care through case conferencing and consultations.
- Administer or review validated assessments to inform treatment strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, operations staff, partnering providers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system, supporting billed CPT codes and treatment outcomes.
- Assess and intervene in crisis scenarios, advocating for patients and providing necessary resources and referrals.
- Conduct sessions from a professional, private, and distraction-free environment to uphold patient privacy and comfort.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s level degree or above, with a current independent license to practice (LICSW, LPC, PhD, PsyD).
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth counseling.
- Prior experience in substance use treatment preferred.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Maintain a valid unrestricted license to practice in the state(s) agreed upon at hire, or other states directed by PursueCare.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice, with a focus on patient-centered care.
