These are a few of our values. Sound a bit like you and what you believe? Then you’re in the right place.

Drive Public Affairs, a division of Push Digital Group, is a digital-first public affairs and advertising firm working with Fortune 500 companies, advocacy coalitions, issue campaigns, and trade associations. Our work lives at the intersection of policy, public opinion, and technology – and we want people on the team who thrive on delivering smart, sharp work at speed.

We’re a tight-knit team of campaign pros, creative thinkers, and strategic communicators. We value hard work, clarity, initiative, and a good sense of humor. If you’re looking to grow fast, contribute meaningfully, and build a career, we’d love to connect.

The Role

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team of digital public affairs strategists at Drive Public Affairs. If you thrive in fast-paced, campaign-style environments—and know how to manage client relationships and creative execution—you’ll fit right in.

This is a hands-on, detail-heavy role for someone who wants to run point on meaningful client work across politics, policy, and reputation management. You’ll manage projects, write content, launch digital campaigns, and help our clients shape opinion in Washington and across the country.

Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Communication: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Corporate and Congressional clients – building trust, anticipating needs, and helping them reach their goals. Field client requests, manage timelines, and keep communication clear, proactive, and professional. Collaborate with team members to translate high-level strategy into executable plans and deliverables.

Campaign & Content Execution: Draft persuasive, on-brand copy for content of all shapes and sizes: social posts, ads, texts, videos, and more. Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and programmatic networks. Coordinate with creative and technical teams to launch websites, run ad campaigns, and deploy content on deadline.

Project & Internal Team Management: Own task management and delivery timelines across multiple accounts. Help lead internal check-ins, creative reviews, and production workflows. Troubleshoot challenges and recommend solutions that keep campaigns on track.

Requirements and Qualifications

Here are some of the experiences we look for in a rockstar Public Affairs Account Executive:

  • 1–3 years of experience in an agency, trade association, or the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • Strong writing skills: you can shift tones, write quickly, and turn complex ideas into clear messages
  • Confidence in multi-tasking with a high attention to detail
  • A campaign mentality: deadline-driven, team-oriented, and solutions-focused.

Honestly – it’s okay if all these items aren’t on your resume. Some of our best colleagues are those who were just getting started in digital and were willing to learn. A lot of us were taught by teammates who guided us along the way, and we’ll do the same for you. What we value more than anything – especially in this role – is:

  • Super high levels of curiosity, a strong work ethic, and serious attention to detail.
  • Someone who wants to provide real value to our clients, be the best in the field, and is an awesome teammate.

If you’re willing to work hard and be a team player, you’ll find a home at Drive Public Affairs. We understand sometimes it may take sacrifice or struggle. Your parents or friends may not quite get what you do or why you do it, but you sure will. Your efforts won’t be overlooked, and you’ll never be bored.

Sound like something that would get you up in the morning? JOIN US.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

This is a full-time position based out of our Washington, DC-area office, and we encourage you to apply if your current and future plans include living and working in the DMV, since being close to Capitol Hill is a requirement of the role. The role does have a hybrid work arrangement, meaning you should expect to work both from our office located in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and from your home (and likely on Capitol Hill many days).

At Push Digital Group, we value our employees and their fit within our company culture. Please review our company values and benefits before applying. This information will help you determine if we are the right fit for you. We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you!

All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status. We are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
