To help us continue to grow our offerings, We are looking for an Engineer I (E1). In this role, you will deliver business value by designing and developing high-quality software in a highly collaborative environment. This role reports to the Engineering Manager or Engineering Director.

Compensation Range: $81,000 - $84,600
Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop and maintain software.
- Design, develop, enhance, and test system software based on assigned tasks.
- Perform routine technical work under supervision, applying established techniques and procedures.
- Participate in entry-level debugging and problem-solving.
- Adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
- Engage in active listening and teamwork, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Communicate effectively with peers and leadership, both verbally and in writing.
- Accept and incorporate feedback to improve personal and technical skills.
- Follow detailed instructions and adhere to standard practices and policies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Basic programming skills and experience with object-oriented languages completed coursework or less than 2 years of development experience.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Google office suite or similar products.
- Ability to cope with change and adapt to new situations.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and continuous learning.
- Initiative and agility in solving simple problems and making basic decisions.
- A commitment to professional and ethical responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical knowledge of backend development using Java, with an understanding of key concepts in server-side programming and API development.
- Exposure to GitHub and Jenkins is preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer will be required. This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role but may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, or standing as necessary.
