Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)
- Build and improve mobile experiences used across thousands of apps
- Help shape the platform, patterns, and practices behind high-quality releases
- Work on meaningful mobile engineering problems at real scale
The Role
Most mobile roles are about shipping features for a single app.
This one is about building and improving the platform those experiences run on.
We support 3,000+ white-label mobile apps across Apple and Google’s app stores, and we’re continuing to evolve how those apps are built, released, and maintained. That means solving mobile engineering problems that go well beyond day-to-day feature work — from performance and reliability to architecture, release quality, and platform consistency.
If you enjoy creating polished mobile experiences, solving meaningful technical challenges, and contributing to the systems that make high-quality delivery possible, this role gives you the space to do exactly that.
The Work
Solve Real Mobile Engineering Problems at Scale
You’ll work on technical challenges that require both engineering depth and product thinking, building mobile experiences that directly affect how people engage with their communities.
Building and Improving Mobile Experiences
Develop and enhance modern mobile app experiences across iOS and Android, contributing new features, usability improvements, and high-quality user interactions.
Strengthening the Platform
Help improve the foundations that support thousands of apps — including architecture, maintainability, performance, release confidence, and platform consistency.
Shipping High-Quality Software
Design and deliver robust, production-ready mobile software that performs well in the real world and creates measurable value for users and the business.
Raising the Engineering Bar
Contribute to technical discussions, code quality, testing practices, and continuous improvement across the mobile engineering environment.
Our Tech Stack
Mobile engineers care about how apps are built, released, and maintained — not just what gets shipped. We believe great software comes from thoughtful engineers working together, not rigid processes. Engineers here are trusted to contribute ideas, improve systems, and help shape how we build. Here’s a snapshot of the environment you’ll be working in.
- React Native using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Mobile development across iOS and Android
- App store release processes across Apple App Store and Google Play
- CI/CD practices supporting frequent and reliable mobile releases
- Testing practices that improve release quality and confidence
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, QA, and backend engineering
- Monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting tooling in support of app quality
- A platform environment shaped by the demands of white-label apps at scale
What You’ll Bring
You’re an engineer who enjoys building mobile products that last, improving app quality over time, and creating experiences people genuinely enjoy using.
Core skills
- Strong proficiency in React Native development using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience building mobile applications in iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture
- Familiarity with app store release processes and mobile CI/CD practices
- Understanding of testing best practices for mobile apps
Nice to have
- Experience working with white-label apps and/or multi-tenant mobile platforms
- Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and release automation
- Familiarity with Apple and Google app store APIs
Why You Should Care
You’ll join a team working on mobile engineering at real scale.
This role sits in an environment where platform thinking matters — where the work is not just about shipping the next feature, but about improving how thousands of apps are built, released, and experienced by real users.
If you enjoy solving meaningful mobile engineering problems, care about quality and user experience, and want to help shape a platform that supports products people genuinely rely on, this is the role for you.
