About Your Role
The Salesforce Platform Manager is the face of the Salesforce Platform to the business; you will manage the Salesforce roadmap, plan future platform initiatives, lead project teams, gather requirements, design solutions, and lead implementations, with an emphasis on the overall success of our Salesforce platform. You will report to, and work closely with, the VP of IT as well as lead and manage our Salesforce team. You will collaborate closely with department heads to ensure that our Salesforce platform is meeting the needs of our business. You will serve as Project Manager and Business Analyst for the Salesforce Platform and for all initiatives associated with QGenda’s Salesforce Strategy which you will develop and maintain.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, maintain, and execute QGenda’s Salesforce strategy.
- Lead QGenda’s cross-functional Salesforce Governance Team.
- Manage QGenda’s Salesforce administrators.
- Hold a high degree of knowledge within QGenda’s Salesforce platform.
- Create and manage multiple project plans, logs, and timelines to ensure projects remain on time while delivering a high level of accuracy.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and write user stories and acceptance criteria to present to the Salesforce Governance Team on a weekly basis.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all user stories and their acceptance criteria and a resource for all Salesforce-related questions and requests.
- Work with other department heads to ensure that Salesforce is meeting their needs.
- Pull in cross-functional resources to help facilitate design sessions and outline user testing.
- Work with the Salesforce Governance Team in translating epics into user stories to design solutions to address the needs of our stakeholders.
- Lead and manage daily/weekly Agile Scrum meetings such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective and other meetings scheduled to manage sprint delivery.
- Implement and document new features and Salesforce add-ons/integrations and communicate these changes to departments.
- Enable all departments to use the Salesforce platform efficiently and effectively through training when necessary.
- Monitor Salesforce performance and identify areas for improvement
Who You Are
- Experience planning and creating user stories
- Experience with agile software management tools (JIRA, VersionOne, etc.).
- Experience leading projects working with executive leadership
- Must have Salesforce Certified Administrator (CRT101)
- Strong understanding of the platform functionality and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, assess impact of new requirements on Salesforce and upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
Experience You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Developer role
- 2+ years of experience in a Project Manager role
- 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role within an agile scrum team
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (CRT101)
Not Required, But Nice to Have
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (PD01) a plus
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (CRT251) a plus
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant (CRT261) a plus
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMI-PMP) a plus
- Professional Scrum Certified a plus
