About Your Role 

In our Professional Services department, we are seeking individuals who are platform experts, self starters, organized, and eager to help carry out the Professional Services mission of enabling our healthcare customers to maximize the value of QGenda! We're in search of individuals with a natural curiosity to learn and a desire to help customers solve their business objectives with technology. Optimizing our Enterprise approach with improved initial technical design to drive long-term sustainability

How You’ll Make an Impact 

As an expert and thought leader within the Solution Architecture team, the Senior Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) is the foremost QGenda authority and strategic advisor for enterprise implementations. Your goal is to use your in-depth knowledge of the QGenda platform and the industry to facilitate the customer’s business objectives. You will be accountable for defining and driving the overall technical design, vision and strategy for large-scale, multi-product solutions, ensuring optimal configurations that maximize value, follow QGenda’s best practices and align with the customer's long-term strategic initiatives. The Senior ESA acts as a chief architect, overseeing the quality of implementations.

You will be responsible for leading a successful implementation and ensuring its optimal configuration. This includes overseeing product-specific Solution Architects for their in-depth knowledge throughout implementations, actively considering product overlaps and dependencies to ensure a cohesive and effective solution across the enterprise. You will also be responsible for various pieces of implementation documentation and initial quality control by ensuring that the customer is configured according to best practices. A key part of this role is to build and manage relationships with executive-level stakeholders like CIOs, CMIOs, and other customer executive sponsors. You'll drive strategy and provide expert consultation to ensure the QGenda implementation effectively meets their strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the overall technical design, vision and strategy for large-scale, multi-product solutions.
  • Lead Discovery and Design activities to understand workflows, identify pain points, and analyze processes, generating actionable insights for effective design and implementation.
  • Lead the Solution Design component of an enterprise implementation, ensuring optimal product configuration and adherence to best practices for complex enterprise projects.
  • Provide expert consultation to executive-level stakeholders, including CIOs, CMIOs, and customer executive sponsors, to ensure strategic objectives are met through QGenda implementation.
  • Oversee and guide product-specific Solution Architects throughout product implementations, actively considering product overlaps and dependencies for cohesive enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of the technical solution with the business case.
  • Drive the Proof of Concept (POC) strategy, ensuring customer and internal stakeholders are aligned on the approach to POC.
  • Perform initial quality control over implementations to ensure products meet requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Create and maintain essential implementation documentation, including but not limited to the Decision Log, Setup Book template, discovery & design documentation, and support rules.
  • Mentor and guide Professional Services team members across the organization on complex projects and configuration best practices, fostering their professional growth.
  • Design the post-Go-Live support structure and create initial enterprise/on-call support rules, ensuring alignment with departmental support rules.
  • Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, including data assessment, cleansing, mapping, execution, and post-migration validation, to ensure accurate and secure transfer of customer data.
  • Plan and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing cycles, ensuring the validated solution meets the customer's operational and system integration requirements.
  • Lead performance testing efforts for large enterprise clients to ensure the QGenda solution scales effectively and maintains optimal functionality under anticipated load.
  • Ensure communication execution, including regular project status updates and milestone achievement announcements, to maintain transparency and alignment with all project stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough security reviews and compliance checks throughout the implementation lifecycle to guarantee the solution adheres to any customer-specific security standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional expertise and in-depth knowledge of the QGenda platform and the healthcare industry, serving as a foremost authority and strategic advisor.
  • Aware of interdependencies between the Customer Experience departments and their given roles and responsibilities. 
  • Knowledge of the QGenda products (or comparable software solutions) and their interactions with the customer's IT landscape. Able to identify and mitigate associated challenges and design a solution that minimizes the impact to the customer
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer business objectives and design optimal technical solutions for long-term sustainability.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated by developing best practices, managing and improving processes, and mentoring other Professional Services team members.
  • Ability to define and drive technical design vision and strategy for large-scale, multi-product solutions, considering product overlaps and dependencies to ensure cohesive enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling strategic conversations and building confidence with executive-level stakeholders, and effectively conveying project updates and milestones.
  • Consultative approach when working with customers, guiding them on existing workflows and best practices to maximize QGenda's value.
  • Deep awareness of interdependencies between the Customer Experience department, QGenda products (or comparable software), and the customer's IT landscape, with the ability to identify and mitigate associated challenges.
  • Specialized and advanced rule knowledge of at least one medical specialty and/or QGenda product, coupled with a foundational understanding of various medical specialties and multiple QGenda products.
  • Meticulous attention to detail pertaining to product setup, configuration, and adherence to QGenda standards and processes.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and expertise in manipulating data using Google Suite Products or similar software.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Expertise in data migration methodologies, including data assessment, cleansing, mapping, transformation, and validation for large-scale SaaS implementations.
  • Profound understanding and practical experience in various testing phases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), advanced integration testing, and performance testing strategies for complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans, effectively conveying complex project information and milestones to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level security protocols and compliance standards, with proven ability to integrate and validate these requirements into solution design.

Experience You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ years applicable experience in technical configuration and implementation of SaaS/software solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and other industry events
  • Healthcare IT experience preferred.
