We are seeking a Technician II – Propulsion to support the assembly, integration, testing, and fueling of spacecraft propulsion systems and components. This role is ideal for a technician with several years of experience in spacecraft, aerospace, automotive, or related technical industries who can independently execute propulsion AI&T activities while supporting mission-critical spacecraft development and flight operations.

You will work closely with propulsion, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to support development and flight spacecraft programs. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, troubleshooting, hardware integration, and safe propulsion operations.

Where You'll Make an Impact

  • Perform assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) activities on development and flight spacecraft propulsion systems and components
  • Perform hazardous spacecraft fueling and propellant handling operations in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements
  • Contribute to the design of spacecraft propulsion systems and components by providing feedback on manufacturability, integration, and testability.
  • Troubleshoot propulsion hardware and test issues and provide feedback to engineering teams
  • Support spacecraft integration and mission readiness activities
  • Operate within fast-paced development environments supporting high-reliability spacecraft systems

What It Takes

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of relevant experience performing assembly, integration, and test activities in the spacecraft, aerospace, automotive, or related technical industries
  • Demonstrated ability to own completion of tasks with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to perform AI&T and fueling tasks for spacecraft propulsion systems
  • Demonstrated ability to perform semi-automated tube welding
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and execute AI&T procedures
  • Demonstrated experience performing spacecraft fueling operations
  • Demonstrated experience performing leak checks, pressure testing, and fluid system verification
  • Demonstrated ability to machine aerospace-grade components using CNC equipment
  • Demonstrated experience creating and interpreting CAD models and engineering drawings
