About the Team & Opportunity:
Quartet is looking for a Vice President, Sales, who is able to sell to health plans and other risk-bearing entities to drive new revenue for the business. This role will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer, and have an annual quota tied to the acquisition of new sales for our risk-based product offerings.
Accountabilities:
- Full sales cycle individual contributor role selling into stakeholders at health plan organizations and risk-bearing entities, across the entire country
- Own and iterate full-cycle consultative sales discussions, including but not limited to running discovery calls, Quartet overview presentations, demonstrations of Quartet’s risk-based offerings, pricing and proposal analysis and reviews, from negotiation to close
- Lead internal and external teams through a solution sale that meets clients business needs while maintaining Quartet's product integrity and framework intact, including financial goals, clinical model, and ability to execute
- Support cross-functional internal workstreams designed to build a sound market strategy for implementing growth strategies for value-based care products
- Cross-functional management of internal stakeholders whose involvement is required to in the sales process, including the leaders of the Data Analytics, Operations, Clinical, Finance, and Legal teams
- Develop and implement lead generation strategy to drive top of the funnel opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline of relevant deals
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and strategy, to maximize our go-to-market strategy, messaging, and brand awareness
- Build business cases for VPs/C-levels at health plan organizations that support how our solutions generate a positive value / impact for their organization
- Represent the company at industry conferences and relevant events, establishing our presence as a leader in the market
Minimum qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in selling, developing, and managing enterprise partnerships with regional and/or national payors, including experience selling to other value-based care organizations
- Direct experience working with and selling value-based care initiatives such as alternative payment models, quality measurement development, provider implementation, or analytics
- Able to synthesize claims data in partnership with head of analytics and understand opportunities and value levers for savings
- Highly organized and process-oriented, with proven track record of completed risk-based product solution sales and leading complex projects
- Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales
- Experience working with healthcare leaders within health plans and/or health systems, with a focus on pitching, selling, and negotiating complex agreements
- Consulting or similar work experience, interacting directly with customer stakeholders and focusing on growth
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of the US healthcare system, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the segments and workings of the payor industry
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team to achieve outstanding results
- A deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health
- Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
- The ability to travel up to 30% of the year for sales pitches and representing Quartet Health at industry events
Compensation: The compensation for this role will consist of a base salary and commission structure. The base salary will vary based on candidate experience.
