IT Product Owner

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving product excellence? We are looking for a talented Product Owner III to join our dynamic Product Innovation team and shape the future of our digital landscape. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the product vision and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of product enhancements.

We expect a professional who can be responsible for leading the development of key product features in Salesforce, ensuring strategic alignment, and guiding both stakeholders and development teams through the product life cycle in Salesforce.

The Challenge: Your Day-to-Day

As a Product Owner III, your missions include:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

• Take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring it is strategically aligned with overarching business objectives to drive value and growth.

• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to inform and refine product strategy, identifying opportunities and threats in the marketplace.

Product Feature Definition and Prioritization:

• Lead engaging and effective requirements gathering sessions, articulating product features, and establishing clear priorities to meet both user and business needs.

Stakeholder Management:

• Proactively manage stakeholder communications to ensure their requirements and expectations are understood and aligned with product goals, fostering positive relationships and collaboration.

Design and Prototyping:

• Oversee the creation of high-fidelity prototypes, working closely with UX/UI teams to ensure that design elements not only meet business objectives but also enhance the user experience.

Project Management and Delivery:

• Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure timely delivery of product increments, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

• Ensure seamless product releases and deployments by overseeing comprehensive release plans and timelines, mitigating risks to maintain delivery schedules.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to clarify technical requirements and ensure they are met, aligning both product vision and technical execution.

What You Need to Succeed

Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following or related fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Digital Product Management, Economics, or Data Science

• A Master’s degree is a plus, particularly in: MBA (with a focus on Technology or Product Management), MIS (Management Information Systems), Innovation & Digital Transformation, Human-Computer Interaction.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) – Scrum Alliance
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) – Scrum.org
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) – Scaled Agile
• Agile or Scrum Master certifications

Professional Background:

7 - 9 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a related role in a technology-driven or digital-first environment.

Professional Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management. 
• Ability and proficiency in Salesforce at a deep organizational level. 
• Strong skills in leading requirements management, product strategy, and prioritization. 
• Advanced understanding of UX/UI design principles and ability to guide design teams. 
• In-depth programming knowledge to bridge business and technical requirements. 
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills. 
• Strong financial management skills to manage budgets and evaluate product ROI. 
• Ability to lead large cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. 
• Strong communication skills.
