Overview
We’re seeking a seeking a strong Business Development professional with proven success in winning software contracts, licenses, and OTAs with the U.S. Government and contractors, including R&D contracts, SBIRs, Programs of Record, and major subcontracts. You will play an integral role in bringing Generalized Scene Reconstruction (GSR) software to the U.S. Defense industry.
This is a hybrid position, meaning that you will need to live within easy driving distance to our Technology Center in Columbia, Maryland.
What You’ll Do
- Win US Government contracts, licenses, and OTAs for software development, deployment, and ongoing use
- Secure SBIRs, R&D contracts, Programs of Record, and major subcontracts with the U.S. Government, with a focus on deployment to the DoD and associated contractors
- Develop opportunities to deploy GSR software to the U.S. Defense industry
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, or related fields
- 3+ years of successfully winning government opportunities for technology software development and licensing
- 3+ years of success writing and winning proposals (e.g., tech, cost, and commercialization volumes)
- Meet Quidient, customer, and government security requirements, which may include, but are not limited to a background check, citizenship verification, and Criminal Justice Information Services verification
- Access to technical data controlled for export under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is required for performance of job duties (See 22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130; 15 C.F.R. Parts 730-774)

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- If out of military, O-4 or above with key sustainment, civil engineering, and/or program office experience. Otherwise, proven success in connecting with government stakeholders
- Experience with computer vision or other 3D reconstruction software
- Proven track record navigating transition from Phase I or II SBIR/STTR projects to Phase III contracts
- Strong connections with major U.S. Government contractors
- Hands-on background organizing and executing field demos
- Track record of success in fast-paced, early-stage companies
- Exposure to API-first product environments
- Hold a current TS/SCI security clearance
What We Offer
Compensation:
- On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position (base plus commission): $150,000 - $200,000
