Overview
We are looking for talented and driven SDET II to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive automated and manual test suites to ensure high-quality software delivery. Leveraging your expertise with automation frameworks, you will optimize our testing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the smooth launch of key product features. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct integration and regression testing using a combination of automated frameworks and manual techniques; write and execute automated tests for newly developed features and continuously work towards improving automation coverage.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and launch of key product features, ensuring high test coverage and robust automation from the start.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams to proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve high-impact technical issues.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in software testing, automation frameworks, and related technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, preferably using Playwright. Experience with other frameworks is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies and the modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard QA procedures, best practices, and software development fundamentals.
  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, actionable frameworks and models.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, etc.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with bash or cURL scripting.
  • Proficient with version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new technologies, and to approach problems from a broad, solution-oriented perspective.
  • Have a strong growth mindset and desire to solve problems.

This role is eligible for hire in India.

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States, Canada, India, Netherlands, & Germany. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.
