THE ROLE:

Creative Strategy Director

Quince is hiring a Creative Strategy Director to join our Paid Social team. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and performance—leading the development of high-impact ad concepts that drive growth while maintaining Quince’s elevated aesthetic.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading creative strategy for high-growth, direct-to-consumer brands, ideally in the premium or luxury space. You pair sharp creative instincts with a data-driven mindset, translating insights into concepts that scale without sacrificing taste.

You’ll guide a small, high-performing team of creative strategists, designers, and editors to deliver ads that convert and build brand love. From writing briefs and shaping content strategy across channels to collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and merchandising, you’ll ensure every campaign reflects both the art and science of performance marketing.

This role will report into our Director, Paid Social.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (GMs, Merch, Inventory, Sourcing) as the main marketing point of contact for assigned product categories.

  • Develop and execute creative strategies that drive performance across paid social platforms — primarily optimizing for acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Review and refine creative concepts to ensure alignment with brand identity, tone, and design standards.

  • Analyze performance data and audience insights to inform creative testing, iteration, and optimization.

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen creative direction.

  • Stay on top of design and social media trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the Influencer team to craft and refine briefs for UGC and testimonial video content.

  • Monitor owned category performance to ensure marketing efficiency and revenue targets are met.

  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the paid social creative team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in creative strategy, marketing, ideally within direct-to-consumer e-commerce

  • Proven experience developing and executing creative strategies that drive measurable performance and growth

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and how creative impacts conversion and efficiency metrics

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret large data sets, identify key business drivers, and translate insights into actionable creative strategies

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and leadership

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Business, Economics, or Finance in addition to marketing disciplines

  • Experience working with elevated or luxury brands in a high-growth, DTC environment

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong creative instincts and performance-focused design work, including digital and paid media campaigns

  • Familiarity with video editing, motion graphics, and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent)

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment where creative excellence and performance go hand in hand

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
