THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

This role reports directly to the Head of Corporate Finance/FP&A and will collaborate closely with the Customer Service and Planning & Inventory teams. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of banking experience combined with 2+ years in finance—preferably within an eCommerce or fast-paced, tech-driven environment. They should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Excel, financial planning tools, and data visualization software is essential. The candidate will be expected to deliver actionable insights for leadership, manage financial projects, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate the challenges of a rapidly scaling business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the strategic FP&A partner to Customer Service and Planning & Inventory teams, providing financial guidance and insights.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to accurately forecast and model financials for all 1P and 3P capacity plans.
  • Develop financial impact analyses for contact reduction initiatives and customer experience improvements.
  • Build revenue projections to support category specialist and personal shopper concierge programs.
  • Prepare Inventory Ageing Analysis and cost analysis on inventory movement
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional business partnerships, conducting monthly meetings and thoroughly reviewing General Ledger (GL) entries.
  • Enable and execute scenario analysis within the model to support data-driven, strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and update Monthly Management Business Review (MBR) templates for multiple departments, ensuring alignment with current financial data, performance trends, and targets.
  • Conduct ad hoc scenario analyses to evaluate impacts on margin and bottom-line targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions, align on inputs, and ensure accuracy in financial modeling.
  • Present scenario analysis findings with clear, actionable recommendations that optimize financial planning, strategic decisions, and performance outcomes.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership on margin performance, cost drivers, and key business levers affecting profitability.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Master’s Degree (MBA) or relevant certifications are an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Experience of 2+ years in investment banking and 2+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance, ideally within a retail, consumer goods, or supply chain–driven industry.
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner, working cross-functionally with operational and commercial teams.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex modeling, sensitivity analysis) and experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of GAAP, GL review, and accounting/finance fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify key insights, and influence decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing and presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and propose innovative solutions.

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

Pay Range

$140,000 - $160,000 USD
