Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead production assessments and implement initiatives to streamline production lead time. This role is crucial in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across our operations, ensuring cost savings, and optimizing supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end lead time production assessments and implement initiatives to reduce production lead time.
- Identify and explore cost-saving opportunities within production, ensuring efficient time and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the materials sourcing and inventory planning teams to optimize supply chain operations.
- Manage strategic partnerships with vendors, ensuring compliance with company needs and demands.
- Oversee supplier on-time delivery metrics to achieve a 90% on-time delivery rate with every supplier.
- Work closely with vendors and engineers to maintain data quality standards and utilize internal tools effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive vendor performance and enhance customer experience.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with partners to discuss strategies, business highlights, performance, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement with a deep understanding of suppliers' end-to-end production processes.
- Experience with major China/US-based online retailers (M2C).
- Strong network with partner factories in sourcing for Apparel and Home goods.
- General Manager mindset with supply chain and manufacturing (lean/JIT) experience.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a focus on execution and problem-solving.
- Continuous learner with a proactive approach to challenges and a willingness to consider new perspectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Pay Range
$1 - $2 USD
