THE ROLE

Product Development Execution Lead

Summary

The Product Development Execution Lead at Quince is a pivotal factory-based role responsible for driving the on-the-ground execution of product development within our vendor ecosystem. This position focuses on real-time coordination, issue resolution, and accelerating the product development process to ensure timely market delivery. The role requires a hands-on approach, spending substantial time in factories to meet development milestones efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and actively manage the day-to-day product development timeline, ensuring progress within the 16-week cycle target.
  • Coordinate across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and Vendors to align on development status and dependencies.
  • Ensure accurate and complete product documentation prior to vendor handoff, including technical specifications and testing requirements.
  • Oversee sample development, tracking all requests, shipments, and revisions to maintain efficiency and reduce sample rounds.
  • Facilitate timely product reviews and approvals, ensuring completion of required testing and communication of outcomes.
  • Conduct in-person development trips with global teams to accelerate decision-making and resolve issues directly at vendor sites.
  • Support timely staging of materials and production in partnership with Sourcing, ensuring readiness for product launch.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time data across product development systems for transparency and fast execution.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in product development, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and timelines.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on issue resolution and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in using product development tools and systems for tracking and documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, spending up to 4 days per week on-site at factories.
  • Hands-on approach with experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

 

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

Pay Range

$1 - $2 USD
