Our MarketPlace team follows a “hybrid” model, requiring in-person attendance at our office located in São Paulo, 3 times per month.

About the role:

 

As we start to scale, we are looking for an Operations Manager to to support and enhance the core operational engine that drives our growth. This person will be responsible for transforming our current, largely manual and unstructured operations into efficient, scalable AI-first systems that deliver exceptional customer experiences, funnel conversion, and operational excellence. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker equally comfortable driving execution and identifying opportunities to restructure and change our ways of operating. This person will critically analyze and reshape our operational processes, with a keen eye for leveraging technology and AI to drive quality and efficiency. Most importantly, they should act as a true enabler of growth working to remove friction, unlock scalability, and ensure that operations accelerate rather than hinder the pace of the business.

 

Requirements

  • Experience: Experience in operations, preferably in tech, marketplaces, logistics, or high-growth environments. 
  • Execution & Excellence: Proven ability to drive execution while maintaining high standards and operational rigor.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, engaged teams. Ability to make tough calls and lead through ambiguity.
  • Customer Obsession: Deep commitment to understanding and solving customer pain points.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage diverse audiences and influence outcomes.
  • Languages: Portuguese and English. Other languages are a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end operational processes that support business scalability and customer success.
  • Own critical workflows across service delivery, client support, and internal operations—driving efficiency, quality, and innovation.
  • Balance immediate execution needs with long-term infrastructure planning to enable sustainable growth.
  • Build and lead an operations team; define clear goals, drive accountability, and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Inspire and engage the team to perform at their best, even in the face of setbacks or ambiguity.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop talent, creating a strong bench of future leaders.
  • Develop and evolve operational practices with the customer experience at the core.
  • Spend time in the field and in direct contact with customers and internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Product, Tech, Commercial, and BizOps teams to align operations with strategic goals and initiatives and enable end-to-end execution.
  • Act as a strategic connector between functions to ensure speed, consistency, and clarity across all initiatives.
  • Define and monitor key operational KPIs; use data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement—driving performance, efficiency, and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Lead initiatives to professionalize, automate, or outsource operational components as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and intentionally across teams and levels—translating complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Align internal stakeholders and promote operational clarity and focus across the organization.
