Location & Remote Work for technology and remote-first roles
Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

About the Team
You will be the main responsible for Data&AI organization and strategy within a business unit. We expect you to:
- Engage with peer leaders (from Product Management, Design and Engineering) within your business context to align strategy and org structure;
- Deeply understand the business context and proactively identify opportunities to generate value with Data&AI;
- Guide teams to build Data Products and AI solutions to solve business challenges;
- Use prediction and prescriptive methods to support decision-making;
- Set a long-term strategy and plan for Data&AI in your Business Unit;
- Be a reference and build a great team by both recruiting great talent and helping them grow;
- Be an internal influencer towards a data and AI driven culture;
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Data&AI;
- Proven track record of leading medium to large teams and fostering career growth.
- Experience leading teams to business impact through Analytics and Data Science.
- Expertise in probability and statistics, including experimental design, bayesian modeling, optimization and causal inference for A/B experiments analysis.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts: regression and classification, clustering, neural networks, feature selection, cross-validation, curse of dimensionality, bias-variance tradeoff, model explainability, etc.;
- Solid understanding of software and data engineering best practices, with awareness of the challenges in deploying machine learning models to production.
- Experience providing technical guidance to data professionals (data analysts, data scientists, etc);
- Excellent English skills (verbal and written) are mandatory.
You will stand out if you:
- Have experience in working at fast-growing startups.
- Have a MSc. (or Undergrad + intense experience) in data science, machine learning, information retrieval, ranking systems, recommender systems, natural language processing or other relevant fields.
- Have experience with optimization problems.
- Have experience leading Data Engineering teams.+
- Have experience with Causal Inference.
- Have experience leading staff+ Individual Contributors (ICs).
