Location & Remote Work
Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

As a Tech Lead Manager on our team, you will be a pivotal technical leader and a go-to expert for all data-related initiatives within the CX Platform context, which is responsible for the systems our human agents use to help our customers love where they live. You will work closely with product, design and software engineering within your assigned domain to drive data-driven and AI-driven decision-making at scale. While the primary focus is on business unit needs, opportunities may also arise to contribute to our central data platform team.
About the Role
As a Tech Lead Manager on our team, you will balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities, having the opportunity to make a significant impact through both technical excellence and strategic leadership. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about deep technical challenges and team leadership, allowing you to grow by solving complex problems. You'll drive high-impact projects, mentor and guide team members, and play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our products.
On top of being a great engineer, we expect you to:
- Lead a small team of Data Engineers to build data products that are a part of our CX platform and allow analytics of all our operations. As you grow you may also lead Data Scientists and MLEs, always as the single leader for the entire context
- Be a technical reference to the team, including doing hands-on engineering work.
- Shape the technical direction of our products, translating business requirements into solutions.
- Discuss business requirements with the Line Leader, Product Manager and other stakeholders.
- Being a key leader in the CX Platform context making decisions together with your engineering, product and design peers to achieve our OKRs.
What we are looking for:
- Solid understanding of the engineering challenges of deploying data products to production;
- Solid understanding of systems, software and data engineering best practices;
- Expertise in modern data architecture concepts and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg/Delta Lake).
- Strong proficiency in Python with a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
- Advanced SQL skills and expertise in data modeling techniques for analytical workloads.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or other data workflow tools.
- Ability to lead and drive projects involving collaboration across multiple engineering, data and business teams
- Experience leading teams and managing careers.
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Fluency in cloud data services and infrastructure on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Kinesis and query engines like Trino/Presto.
- Contributed to or designed data platforms that support Machine Learning pipelines or advanced analytics use cases.
- Experience building data pipelines for GenAI applications (e.g. RAG, embeddings, vector databases).
- Knowledge of infrastructure areas such as containers and orchestration, CI/CD strategies, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience in external data integrations with high volume and strong security requirements.
