Location & Remote Work
Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

About the Team
To lead the next phase of data maturity across the Classifieds business in all countries, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to oversee both the BI Back-end and BI Front-end teams. This role will be responsible for ensuring data is reliable, scalable, and accessible, while also enabling the business with high-quality insights, applied business logic, and decision-ready analytics.
This leader will play a critical role in transforming raw data into trusted information and actionable intelligence, supporting strategic decision-making across Commercial, Product, Finance, and Leadership teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with business acumen, executes with discipline, and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders, and will act as a key enabler of data-driven execution and OKR delivery.
Responsibilities
BI Back-end Leadership (Data Foundation & Reliability)
- Lead the BI Back-end team responsible for making data available, reliable, consistent, and scalable across the organization.
- Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, data quality, documentation, governance, and monitoring.
- Ensure high data reliability through validation frameworks, SLAs, and clear ownership of critical datasets.
- Partner closely with other teams to align ingestion, transformation, and storage layers with analytical and business needs.
- Continuously improve data performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the analytics stack.
BI Front-end Leadership (Insights & Business Enablement)
- Lead the BI Front-end team responsible for understanding the business, applying business rules, and translating data into insights.
- Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical products that are clear, actionable, and decision-oriented.
- Ensure consistent metric definitions, KPI frameworks, and semantic layers across countries and business units.
- Embed analytical thinking into business routines by enabling self-service analytics while maintaining governance and quality.
- Support stakeholders in interpreting data, identifying drivers, and turning insights into actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Tech, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between data capabilities and business priorities.
- Act as a strategic bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, speed, and impact.
- Support company-wide initiatives by providing a single source of truth and trusted analytical guidance.
Strategic Communication
- Communicate insights clearly and succinctly to different audiences, from operational teams to senior leadership.
- Translate complex data topics into clear narratives, recommendations, and trade-offs that drive alignment and execution.
Requirements
- Experience: Background in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data, Strategy, or related fields, preferably in high-growth or complex, multi-country environments.
- BI & Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, BI tools, metric design, and analytics best practices.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct deep analyses, and deliver actionable insights.
- Leadership & Influence: Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across different seniority levels.
- Execution & Ownership: Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to execute from strategy through delivery.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated success working closely with Product, Tech, Data Engineering, and Business teams.
- Communication: Structured, clear communicator with the ability to adapt messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
Languages: Fluent English is mandatory; intermediate Spanish is required.
