About the Team

QuintoAndar is seeking a hands-on, highly organized, and detail-oriented Fintech Regulatory Specialist to join our Legal & Regulatory team. As we verticalize our financial stack and secure our institutional autonomy, this role will serve as the strategic technical architect and expert for our regulatory compliance infrastructure. Working with technical full autonomy, you will design scalable compliance systems, serve as an internal advisor across the Legal Org and senior leadership, and leverage modern AI and automation tools to drive high-speed regulatory execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Project Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust, audit-proof compliance frameworks across Central Bank (BCB) licensing pipelines (SCFI and Consórcio). Build scalable processes that enable peer execution while mentoring less experienced lawyers on the team.
  • Reporting & Data Infrastructure: Reporting Strategy & Automation: Architect, automate, and oversee data infrastructure for mandatory BCB reporting (STA, Unicad, Sisorf, Document 2080), ensuring long-term systemic reliability and data integrity while overseeing operational execution.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary regulatory advisor for Product, Tech, Finance (COSIF), and Compliance. Evaluate complex, multi-variable legal scenarios to create scalable regulatory strategies that unlock business opportunities while mitigating institutional risk.
  • Routine Inquiries & Research: Leverage AI and modern tech tools to deliver rapid, high-impact synthesis on evolving BCB frameworks (e.g., CP 108/BaaS). Act as QuintoAndar's primary representative in key industry forums, contributing directly to public consultations and market policy discussions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Law degree with 8+ years with post-graduation experience and active OAB registration. A Postgraduate or Master's degree (Lato or Stricto Sensu) in Regulatory Law, Banking Law, or Financial Markets is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience: 5+ years of specialized hands-on regulatory experience within fintechs, financial institutions, or top-tier financial law practices, with a proven track record of independently solving complex regulatory challenges and advising senior stakeholders.
  • Hard Skills: * Solid understanding of the Brazilian Financial System (SFN) and Central Bank (BCB) regulations (e.g., Law 11.795/2008, SCD/SCFI frameworks, SBP, Consórcio and BaaS rules).
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting channels (STA, Unicad, Sisorf).
  • Familiarity with G-Suite tools and AI tools such as claude.
  • Soft Skills: Systemic Architecture (SRE Mindset):
  • Ability to view compliance as a system—building scalable, audit-proof workflows rather than managing isolated tasks.
  • Legal Tech Agility (Legal Engineer Mindset): Proactive adoption of AI tools (e.g., Claude, LLMs) and automation to accelerate research, document synthesis, and daily operations.
  • Technical Authority & Mentorship: Experienced in acting as an internal consultant, giving final technical guidance on complex issues, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Senior Advisory & Stakeholder Representation: Strong communication skills to act as an advisor to executive leadership and serve as the company's voice in external regulatory forums.
  • Languages: Fluent Portuguese and Advanced/Fluent English (mandatory for executive reporting and cross-border alignment).
