Amazon Sales Analyst

We are a fast-growing “startup”-turned-grownup looking for an Amazon Sales and Operations Analyst for an exciting new position that will allow for exposure across functions, levels, and facets of the Amazon channel with opportunities for expansion into other online marketplaces.

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Amazon Sales and Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for key operational and project management tasks, as well as sales and performance analytics. 

This role will report into the Director of Amazon and Online Marketplaces, and will be a critical part of the team that allows us to continue driving growth and expansion within this channel through holistic account management support.

Base Salary: 50-70k

This range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own demand planning for Amazon channel and work within cross-functional monthly forecasting processes and timelines
  • Manage shipment forecast and creation weekly working collaboratively with Operations and own the management of Amazon inventory levels and weeks-on-hand
  • Prepare detailed sales reporting and develop actionable business insights through leveraging multiple data sources such as sales and advertising metrics, and category and competitive performance
  • Maintain and update key documents and resources leveraged by external and internal stakeholders that enable tracking of assortment, pricing, margins, and promotions
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining PDP excellence including monitoring ratings and reviews
  • Work closely with Creative Project Manager to ensure creative projects and deliverables are executed successfully including owning brief creation and completion
  • Assist in day-to-day Amazon operational needs through Buy Box monitoring, Seller Central ticket management, and monitoring and actioning on unauthorized sellers across online marketplaces
  • Be comfortable and thrive wearing different “hats” throughout the day: jumping from analytics to strategy to assistance with ease and excellence
  • Ability to work within an ever-evolving channel landscape
  • Be comfortable communicating with stakeholders and cross-functional counterparts across multiple levels
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, DTC, Finance, Demand Planning, Creative, Brand Marketing, Data Team, and external agency partners.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Strong preference to previous Amazon and sales analytics experience
  • Strong excel / analytical skills preferred
  • Experience with Seller Central a plus
  • NYC metro location strongly preferred
