Marketing Operations Manager

quip is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join the Marketing team. This role will play a critical part in driving operational excellence across marketing initiatives, ensuring projects move efficiently from intake and planning through execution and delivery. The Marketing Operations Manager will own and optimize the processes, systems, tools, and workflows that support the broader Marketing and Creative teams across a wide range of campaigns, launches, and cross-functional initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. This person will lead project and workflow management across a variety of marketing channels and formats, including email, print, events, video, digital campaigns, landing pages, social content, and other brand touchpoints. In addition to project management, this role will support budget tracking, asset organization, production coordination, and marketing systems administration.

This role will partner closely with Marketing, Creative, and cross-functional teams across the organization to prioritize work, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and automation into existing workflows. The right candidate is someone who enjoys building structure, solving operational challenges, and continuously improving how teams work together.

This is a hybrid role based in our DUMBO, Brooklyn office two days per week.

Base Salary: $105k-$130k

This range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence across the Marketing and Creative teams by building scalable processes, improving collaboration, and ensuring efficient execution across projects and campaigns
  • Manage project intake, briefing, prioritization, timelines, stakeholder reviews, and delivery across a wide range of marketing initiatives and creative outputs
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep projects moving forward effectively
  • Own and maintain marketing workflows, documentation, systems, and operational processes to improve visibility, organization, and team efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and proactively implement process improvements, automation, AI tools, or technology solutions that enhance team productivity and scalability
  • Monitor timelines, resourcing, and project health across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and escalating concerns when needed
  • Support management of marketing budgets, production spend, vendor invoices, licensing, and external partner relationships
  • Coordinate and oversee relationships with external vendors, agencies, freelancers, and production partners, including timelines, deliverables, contracts, and asset delivery
  • Maintain organized asset management systems and ensure marketing and creative materials are properly tracked, versioned, and accessible
  • Partner with Marketing leadership on campaign planning, prioritization, resourcing, and operational support across key business initiatives
  • Assist in bringing new products, launches, campaigns, and marketing initiatives to market by coordinating timelines, collateral updates, packaging updates, and cross-functional deliverables
  • Prepare regular reporting and operational updates related to project status, budget tracking, workflow efficiency, and team capacity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations, project management, production, or a similar operational role, preferably within an e-commerce, consumer brand, agency, or fast-paced cross-functional environment
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, timelines, workflows, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, adapt quickly, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience building or improving operational processes, systems, workflows, and documentation to support team scalability and efficiency
  • Demonstrated interest in AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies, with a willingness to identify and implement solutions that improve team workflows and productivity
  • Experience coordinating creative, digital, ecommerce, packaging, or campaign-related assets and deliverables across a variety of marketing channels
  • Comfortable partnering with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including cross-functional teams, external partners, and senior leadership
  • Experience managing budgets, production spend, vendors, freelancers, agencies, contracts, or licensing workflows preferred
  • Familiarity with content management systems, project management platforms, and digital asset management best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate timelines, priorities, risks, and project updates
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with strong judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus/
