It is a very exciting time of growth for our Quisitive, and we are currently hiring a Senior Project Manager with a passion to drive process, consistency and communication in support of successful project delivery for our clients. This position will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution (including managing and controlling) and closure of projects within the established scope, budgets and timelines. The role is a consultative, billable position measured on service satisfaction and account utilization.
What will this role entail?
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in steering the project lifecycle, utilizing best practices to ensure the successful delivery of engagements. Your role will encompass defining, tracking, and communicating incremental release objectives and milestones, while guiding teams to exceed stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lifecycle Management: Plan, organize, and manage the project lifecycle using various methodologies. Ensure successful engagement delivery by setting and communicating clear release objectives and milestones
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to build, manage, and prioritize the project backlog. Achieve consensus on the impact of changes to team priorities, scope, and schedules
- Project Communications: Oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications, ensuring clarity and timeliness
- Issue Resolution: Monitor, review, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues promptly. Continuously seek ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness
- Documentation: Ensure project artifacts are complete, current, and appropriately catalogued
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional team members. Build strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, executives, and other involved parties
What’s required to be successful in this role?
- Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise-level projects. Proficiency in managing projects using Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies in a client-facing role
- Consulting Experience: Previous consulting experience in a customer-facing role with strong business acumen
- Domain Expertise: Experience managing enterprise projects related to our various Microsoft practice areas: Azure, infrastructure, data, or application development
- Leadership: A proven track record of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth in project and engagement management, including client interactions beyond scope/schedule/budget communications. Experience leading teams of 5-12+ on and offshore members with budgets over $500,000
- Remote Management: Experience managing projects and relationships remotely within distributed teams and in a consulting environment
- Stakeholder Management: Experience conducting and leading stakeholder meetings/workshops, managing expectations, and driving external timelines
- Customer Focus: A strong customer service mindset and a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, facilitate productive team interactions, and foster a positive work environment
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet. Familiarity with project lifecycle applications such as JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Certifications: Holding Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
What else would set me apart?
- Microsoft Cloud Projects: Experience managing Microsoft cloud technology projects and migrations
- Certifications: Holding Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prosci Change Managements certifications
- Leadership: Experience leading teams of 20+ members
