About the Role
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of the Qventus platform with client Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. You’ll use your technical expertise and collaborative mindset to connect critical healthcare data systems, helping our customers unlock the full value of our platform. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of improving hospital operations and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Build, implement, and maintain production-ready integrations between the Qventus platform and client EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner).

Collaborate with client IT teams to support integration design, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.

Work with clinical and technical data teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data flow into the Qventus platform.

Learn and apply modern integration methods beyond traditional HL7 interfaces, including APIs and cloud-based solutions.

Support ongoing monitoring, validation, and performance tuning of integrations to ensure accuracy and uptime.

Contribute to integration strategy, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For

3–4 years of experience developing and supporting production integrations in a healthcare or enterprise data environment.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.

Hands-on experience with enterprise data integration engines (e.g., Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf).

Familiarity with SQL for reading and querying tables; ability to validate and reprocess data when needed.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially when working with external IT teams.

A genuine interest in transforming and improving the healthcare system.
It’s a Plus If You Have

Experience with EHR implementation or working directly with clinical data systems.

Exposure to Databricks or cloud-based data processing platforms.

Experience using AI tools to increase productivity or data quality.

Experience building API integrations or working with FHIR/RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with HL7, CCD, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
Compensation for this role is based on market data and takes into account a variety of factors, including location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Salary is just one part of the total rewards package at Qventus. Salary Range
$80,000 - $120,000 USD
