Position Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Investor Services Associate to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting investor transaction processing, reporting, and coordinating workflows with the fund’s administrator. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who thrives in a data-driven environment and brings a strong understanding of best practices in investor servicing and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing team at the intersection of finance and life sciences, with significant exposure to investor relations and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with new client onboarding processes, including coordination with the fund administrator to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Coordination of all investor documentation, reporting requirements, and updates to contact and distribution lists both internally and with the fund’s administrator.
  • Manage investor due diligence requests, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and deliver accurate information.
  • Coordinate with the fund administrator to process subscriptions, redemptions, and manage AML/KYC compliance and other investor-related issues.
  • Coordinate with outside legal counsel and internal Legal and Accounting teams to execute and document transfer requests.
  • Manage FATCA and CRS-related reporting obligations in coordination with tax authorities.
  • Maintain internal tracking and reporting of all capital activity (e.g., new issues, PIO %, etc.) and ensure alignment with administrator records.
  • Oversee the incoming cash process to ensure timely and accurate fund clearance.
  • Coordinate with members of the Investor Relations, Legal and Finance teams to provide timely responses to investor and prospective investor inquiries, relating to various topics such as fund administration, accounting, tax, and compliance 
  • Play active role in development and maintenance of internal marketing and due diligence materials 
  • Work on various client service administration projects as they arise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in investor services, preferably within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or fund administrator.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and organized approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid process management skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, Affinity preferred
  • Must be based in greater Boston area
  • Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in our Boston office (4 days on-site)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
