Support Military Medical Teams. Deliver Mission-Ready Technology.

Rackner is seeking a Field Service Representative / Trainer to help military medical teams effectively use critical healthcare technology in operational environments.

In this role, you'll combine hands-on technical support, functional training, and field operations to help medics, nurses, and healthcare providers confidently use Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) and related theater medical applications, including systems such as BATDOK, TMDS/CDP, TBLD, MHS GENESIS Theater, and MedHUB.

You'll work directly with military medical personnel during exercises, system fielding, and ongoing operations, helping them resolve technical challenges and maintain proficiency with essential medical technology.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, troubleshooting, and working in dynamic environments where technical expertise and practical problem-solving make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver onsite and remote functional training, coaching, and refresher instruction to military medical personnel, including support following unit or personnel rotations.
  • Support military exercises, system fielding activities, and operational deployments, including preparing training equipment and assisting users in the field.
  • Own and troubleshoot escalated application support issues at operational sites with limited local IT support, coordinating resolution with technical teams as needed.
  • Help maintain continuity of medical application support in disconnected, intermittent, or limited-connectivity environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and vendor teams to communicate recurring application issues and support effective resolution.
  • Deliver assigned system administrator training and provide additional instructional or field-support coverage as operational needs change.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience supporting JOMIS or theater medical systems, such as BATDOK, TMDS/CDP, TBLD, or MHS GENESIS Theater.
  • Instructor-qualified, with the ability to deliver structured, formal training.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and deploy to domestic, overseas, shipboard, and austere operational locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military medical background or experience supporting military healthcare operations.
  • Qualifications or hands-on experience across multiple JOMIS applications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Mobile Offline.
