Product Manager, In‑Store Experiences

New York City, NY or San Diego, CA or Sunnyvale, CA

ABOUT US

At RADAR, we're transforming the way the world thinks about physical retail. RADAR has raised over $104M from top investors, retailers, and strategics and works with some of the world's retail brands including American Eagle and Gap. We’re building the future of in-store experience where every product and every person can be precisely located in real time.

Our platform combines RFID and AI to unlock hyper-accurate product visibility and automation at scale. From real-time inventory tracking to seamless checkout experiences, our technology empowers some of the world’s largest retailers to streamline operations, reduce loss, and elevate both employee and customer experiences.

We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven startup where bold ideas, collaboration, and impact are at the core of everything we do. Join us as we reshape the physical world with digital precision, starting with retail and expanding far beyond!

ABOUT THE JOB

In this role, you’ll own RADAR’s mobile applications and shopper-facing products that shape how people interact with our technology every day. You’ll help evolve RADAR Core (Lookup, Restock, ROA) from a productivity tool into a broader associate and shopper experience—expanding into strategic partnerships and exploring direct-to-consumer opportunities.

You’ll play a key role in driving results in competitive, high-impact recruiting environments by partnering closely with hiring leaders to define role expectations and success metrics. Using data-driven insights, you’ll develop targeted sourcing strategies that build strong, diverse talent pipelines. Clear communication, regular updates, and market feedback will ensure alignment across stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

As a visible leader for in-store experiences—the most public face of RADAR—you’ll help shape our consumer-facing strategy and define whether we remain a B2B2B company or grow into a consumer brand through partnerships with platforms like Shopify and Google.

ABOUT YOU

You build products people love by combining delight and functionality—balancing the needs of associates, shoppers, and retail leaders. You’re energized by exploring new opportunities, defining entirely new categories, and working at the crossroads of design, technology, and business strategy. Driven by a belief in the future of physical retail powered by smart technology, you’re excited to shape the next generation of in-store experiences. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Required:

  • You have 6+ years in product management; 2+ years owning consumer or mobile products.
  • You have a track record of shipping high‑quality iOS/Android experiences at scale.
  • You have a strong design sensibility and care for UX and product craft.
  • You have experience collaborating closely with design, engineering, and data teams.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining strategy.

Preferred:

  • You have retail product experience: associate tools, clienteling, mobile POS, or in‑store tech.
  • You have consumer retail apps: loyalty, shopping, BOPIS/curbside pickup, mobile commerce.
  • You have platform integrations: Shopify, Google; retail tech partnerships.
  • You have Omnichannel strategy bridging online and offline retail.
  • You have Marketplace/discovery/recommendation background.

At RADAR, your pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role is an exempt position with a salary range of $100,000 - $200,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors,  including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan,  flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

Research has shown that women & underrepresented minorities are more likely to read lists of requirements and consider themselves unqualified if they don't meet every single one. This list represents what we're ideally looking for, but everyone has unique strengths & weaknesses, and we hire for strength & potential, not lack of weakness.

Use of artificial intelligence or a LLM such as ChatGPT during the interview process will be grounds for rejection of your application process.

In your first 30 days, you will:

  • Deeply understand RADAR Core by observing associates using Lookup, Restock, and
    ROA in stores.
  • Review partnership discussions with Shopify, Google Shop, and other integrations.

  • Audit the current roadmap and identify quick wins.

In your first 60 days, you will:

  • Ship meaningful UX improvements to RADAR Core to reduce friction and improve
    usability.
  • Develop a partnership roadmap with milestones for Shopify and Google Shop
    integrations.
  • Prototype shopper‑facing features with design and engineering.

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Define the long‑term vision balancing B2B2B and potential B2C strategies.
  • Establish KPIs for adoption, engagement, NPS, and feature usage.
  • Launch a pilot or beta demonstrating value beyond productivity tools.
