Paralegal
ABOUT US
E-commerce got real-time data infrastructure decades ago. Physical stores still have not. RADAR is changing that.
RADAR is building the data infrastructure layer for the physical world, starting with retail. Our hardware-enabled SaaS platform uses proprietary overhead sensors, software, and AI-powered analytics to locate every product in a store, continuously, down to the fixture.
RADAR is already deployed across 1,400+ stores with retailers including American Eagle Outfitters and Old Navy, processing tens of billions of real-world events every day, delivering 99%+ accuracy in complex, noisy environments - at fleet scale.
RADAR is one of the best-funded companies in retail technology, backed by a recent Series B financing at a $1 billion valuation. Inventory accuracy is only the beginning. We believe RADAR can become foundational infrastructure for the physical economy, powering new AI-driven commerce experiences across retail and beyond.
Join us if you want to work on a large, unsolved, technically challenging problem with an ambitious team building category-defining technology.

ABOUT THE JOB
We are scaling fast, and our legal team is a critical partner in that growth. We are looking for an experienced paralegal who is intellectually curious, obsessed with efficiency, and eager to help us build a world-class legal function from the ground up.
You will report directly to our Associate General Counsel and serve as a key operator of our legal department. This role is a combination of high-level legal operations, system architecture, and hands-on execution.
We need someone with a few years of rigorous law firm experience who has "seen it done right" but is now ready to apply that discipline to a fast-moving tech environment. You aren't afraid of the administrative work - you see it as a puzzle to be solved, automated, or optimized. You are constantly testing the latest AI tools to shrink your own workflow, and you thrive when given a blank slate to build a better process.
Responsibilities:
- Systems Architecture: Take full ownership of our document management (Box) and entity management. We need someone who treats organization as a competitive advantage - not just a filing task.
- AI-First Workflow: You won’t just use AI; you will build the "legal tech stack." We expect you to experiment with LLMs, automation platforms, and legal tech to turn hours of manual work into minutes of high-quality output.
- Operations Scaling: You will help design and implement the playbooks, templates, and SOPs that allow us to scale.
- Full-Cycle Legal Support: You will handle high-volume agreements (NDAs, vendor contracts) and help manage outside counsel billing. You understand the professional rigor required at a top-tier law firm and bring that same quality control to everything you touch at Radar.
- Corporate Housekeeping: Assist with governance, board prep, and IP filings, ensuring our legal infrastructure scales along with our business.
ABOUT YOU
- A "Bias for Action": You have 4-6+ years of experience in a high-intensity environment (large law firm or a fast-paced corporate team). You know how to work fast without sacrificing accuracy.
- Curious & Tech-Forward: You are already using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to draft emails, summarize documents, or write basic scripts. You don’t wait to be told how to use technology - you proactively bring ideas to the table.
- Ownership and Prioritization: You are happy to handle administrative work when it’s needed to move the ball forward, but you are eager to build scalable systems. You take ownership over your tasks and have excellent ability to prioritize and juggle multiple assignments at once.
- Exceptional Quality Control: You catch the mistakes that others miss. You take pride and ownership in your work product and understand that in a legal function, precision matters.
Required:
- 4-6+ years of paralegal, legal operations, or similar legal support experience, ideally in a law firm, large tech company, or other fast-paced in-house environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills—you're the person who creates the system that everyone else relies on
- Demonstrated experience implementing or managing document management systems
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for professional work and ability to think creatively about AI applications
- Experience with legal tech platforms and with legal AI tools specifically designed for contract review, legal research, or document automation
- Experience reviewing and negotiating NDAs
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred:
- Experience supporting legal departments through scaling phases
- Background in commercial contracts, particularly in B2B SaaS or hardware/software technology companies
- Exposure to IP matters (patents, trademarks, licensing)
