About the Job: 

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who sees design as a force for good. Someone who thrives on solving complex problems, designing for simplicity, accessibility, and creating intuitive, beautiful experiences that empower those who empower others. No click bait. No deceptive patterns. Just scalable experiences that keep customers compliant, productive and focused on serving their communities. Less time spent in the software, means more time caring for their clients.

Who you are: 

  • 5+ years of product design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI and systems thinking.
  • Experience working in mission-driven or complex product environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

Research

  • Partner with Product Management, Researchers, and Engineering to ensure a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and prioritize design efforts effectively.
  • Be relentlessly curious and collect immense domain knowledge to inform your solutions.
  • Advocate for user research and best practices in your product area.

UX/UI

  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure products are usable for diverse user groups.
  • Define and maintain high-quality interaction design, UX writing & content and ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience across all products.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to refine and implement the right balance of low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs, pairing innovation with feasibility.
  • Achieve a high level of polish, ensuring your work is well-thought-out, simple, beautiful, and delightful.

Design and systems thinking

  • Establish scalable design patterns that accelerate design and development while maintaining brand identity.
  • Continuously evaluate and leverage the design system, ensuring alignment with evolving business and technology needs.
  • Facilitate design critiques and workshops to strengthen collaboration and alignment across teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory demands, driving innovation and new design techniques.
  • Anticipate feedback and use storytelling to communicate your work in an engaging way to your team, group, and org.

Mentorship and leadership

  • Champion a design-first mindset within cross-functional teams, advocating for user-centered decision-making.
  • Autonomously collaborate with other design and product leaders to identify growth and learning opportunities for yourself and others.
  • Manage projects mostly on your own, actively resolve dependencies with others, and make decisive progress, avoiding going in circles.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
  • Location: Remote 

 

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. More information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors will be shared during the hiring process.
