
Manager – Finance (Cricket Operations)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Cricket Operations) to act as the key bridge between the Finance and Cricket Operations teams. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial planning, real-time expense tracking, and smooth financial execution across all cricket-related activities throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary liaison between Finance and Cricket Operations, ensuring transparent and timely financial communication. 
- 
Payments Oversight: Manage end-to-end Player and Support Staff payments, including IPL and Off-Season commitments. 
- 
Expense Management: Track and monitor real-time expenses across: - 
Player & support staff fees 
- 
Travel (IPL & Off-Season) 
- 
Stay/accommodation (IPL & Off-Season) 
- 
Equipment and kitting 
- 
Development and management programs (year-round) 
 
- 
- 
FP&A & Reporting: Collect, validate, and report real-time actuals from Cricket Operations and Analytics to enable accurate forecasting and budgeting. 
- 
Operational Support: Manage in-season finance operations, including player/staff logistics payments and net bowlers’ compensation. 
- 
Budget Control: Own the Cricket Budget, monitor spends against plan, identify variances, and drive proactive cost management. 
Requirements
- 
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. 
- 
3–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or similar roles. 
- 
Strong analytical, reporting, and Excel/financial modeling skills. 
- 
Ability to work cross-functionally with non-finance stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
- 
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
- 
Passion for sports or experience in the sports/entertainment industry will be an added advantage.
