Secure Software Assessor

Job Summary
Analyzes the security of new or existing computer applications, software, or specialized utility
programs and provides actionable results. Prepare and review Software Quality Assurance
packages to determine if Cybersecurity requirements are met for secure software design.
Coordinate with customers and software developers to ensure Cybersecurity requirements are
met.
Key Skills & Experience
- Four (4+) years of experience performing security assessments and/or audits (both
technical and documenting) on information systems. - Experience conducting independent assessments of security controls to determine the
overall effectiveness of the control and compliance with policies and procedures. - Experience analyzing security needs and software requirements.
- Ability to translate security requirements into application design elements and
document the elements. - Experience performing security testing and reviews to identify gaps
in security architecture and develops a risk management plan. - Experience developing system and software testing and validation procedures
programming, and documentation. - Able to conduct tests of programs and software applications to ensure the desired
information is produced and instructions and security levels are correct. - Experience planning and conducting security authorization reviews and assurance case
development for initial installation of systems and networks.
Education, Certifications, & Credentials
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT),
Cybersecurity, or Engineering related field. - Certifications: IASAE Level 3
- Active Q clearance required.
- Candidates with TS/SCI clearance can be switched over to Q clearance easily
