Operations Manager, Yachts & Villas (12-month contract)

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for daily yacht operations including organization and assistance of yacht trip documents, assisting sales teams with booking procedures and files, preparing yacht trips before travel including client preference sheets & final documents as well as customer service. The Operations Manager will be the point of contact between the Yacht Broker selling team, Yacht Captains and clients during trip planning and answer any 24/7 calls during trips traveling. Further assistance with ongoing projects will be required during low travel & booking season.

Please note this opportunity is a 12-month contract. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all yacht trip operations from booking process to successful completion of travel with customer satisfaction being the main KPI measure of success.
  • Provide support to the sales team with booking operation, communication with clients, captains and various suppliers to ensure a smooth trip execution.
  • Work on assigned yacht projects as needed including preference sheets audits, crew training, organization spreadsheets, creating final documents, organizing marketing content
  • Oversee booking and project organization and ensure all deadlines (finance and yacht ops) are met.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Qualifications

  • Experience working in Yachting industry is an asset (chief stew/purser)
  • Experience with Asana or similar software
  • A driver - you are pragmatic, resilient, and energetic with an ability to mobilize resources and build strong alliances, both internally and externally.
  • A creative and innovative thinker with the ability to proactively problem solve
  • A self-starter who is resourceful and able to work in a lean environment with autonomy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid working relationships with all departments and external stakeholders
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with internal and external partners in a polished and professional manner
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high volume environment with time sensitive deadlines
  • Superior attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude and demonstrated work ethic
