Director of Product Marketing

Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, developing, driving, and executing RapidFort’s global product marketing strategy. As a leader in the marketing team you will work very closely with sales, product management, technical marketing, and engineering teams as well as our global partners and customers to ensure timely planning and flawless delivery of product marketing initiatives to accomplish sales enablement, campaign, global awareness, demand generation, competitive differentiation, and partner goals. This position reports directly to the CMO. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Setting and driving global product marketing strategy, value proposition, messaging, customer benefit, and competitive differentiation 
  • Defining and leading global launches, announcements, and marketing campaigns 
  • Presenting at customer executive briefings and speaking at industry events 
  • Driving sales enablement including sales playbooks, presentations, and tools 
  • Producing corporate press and industry analyst briefing presentations, generating launch presentations, press release content, and press articles for placement in industry publications 
  • Planning, producing, writing, editing and publishing content such as eBooks, website content, external blog articles, and social media content 
  • Presenting, speaking, and engaging with press, media, and industry analysts 
  • Constructing, producing and writing how-to sell guides, partner branding and usage guides, partner portal management and newsletters for customers and partners 
  • Creating webinar strategy and collaborating to create slides, industry briefs, vertical briefs (i.e., retail, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.), partner solution briefs, partner marketing guides, and vertical case studies 
  • Collaborating with the Product Management groups on sales and partner enablement content 
  • Leading the creation of sales presentations, business decision-maker slide decks, sales content, partner content and partner presentations 
  • Generating solution briefs, white papers, customer reference overviews, case studies, short vignettes, and sales funnel targeted content 
  • Inventing storyboards, scripts and content for sales, customer, partner and corporate videos 
  • Identifying and implementing unique and differentiated messaging, positioning, graphics and content for event banners, signage and posters, slide shows for exhibition events, and corporate brochures 
  • Enabling channel partners with presentations, collateral, and digital demand generation content (email copy, web copy, landing page copy) 
  • Leading the development of content for award submissions, industry analyst reports, analyst white papers, survey submissions, analyst product surveys, corporate solution briefs, and market numbers 
  • Producing graphics, creative content, icons, and infographics for use in white papers, presentations and solution briefs is a plus 
  • Owning, tracking and managing budgets and expenses to ensure fiscal discipline 

Requirements: 

  • 8 to 10 years of product marketing experience in high tech 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Suite, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude required, and familiarity with publishing and graphics tools preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field 
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, especially in a fast-paced cross-functional environment 
  • “Roll up sleeves and do what it takes” attitude 
  • Strong team player not afraid to present new, creative ideas

  • Compensation: Base salary up to $180K plus full benefits package.
