As part of our continued expansion, we’re looking for an Automation & AI Engineer to join our team. This role is central to helping us and our partners leverage artificial intelligence and workflow automation to transform the way we operate.
What will you be doing?
As an Automation & AI Engineer at Rapido, you will be at the forefront of building AI-driven tools and automated workflows that streamline operations, enhance client delivery, and create smarter outcomes. You’ll collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate AI and automation into real-world business processes.
- AI Tool Development & Support: Build and improve AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT integrations) that support internal operations and enhance service delivery.
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows using platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Power Automate to reduce manual effort and optimize efficiency.
- Data Integration & Analysis: Work with SQL and Google BigQuery to connect, analyze, and report on data, driving actionable insights for smarter decision-making.
- Prompt Engineering & Orchestration: Test and optimize prompts, configurations, and multi-service AI orchestration to maximize accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Monitor, debug, and improve AI/automation pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality outputs.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay on top of AI/automation trends, experiment with new technologies, and share best practices across the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, IT, and business teams to deliver automation solutions that solve real-world challenges.
What we need:
- Hands-on experience in AI, automation, or software development (degree helpful but not required).
- Familiarity with AI APIs and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, ChatGPT).
- Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Power Automate).
- Basic coding/scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred).
- Proficiency in SQL; BigQuery experience is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with curiosity to explore creative solutions.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts in clear and simple terms.
- English proficiency required.
