Salary: 23,000 MXN 

We are seeking a results-driven Bulk Carrier Sales Representative to manage, scale, and optimize our bulk freight carrier network. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing specialized bulk carriers, including liquid tank truck, pneumatic, and ISO tanks, to move freight efficiently and cost effectively. You will serve as the critical link between operational execution, carrier relationships, and safety compliance, ensuring exceptional service standards while driving volume and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrier Relationship Management & Sourcing
• Cultivate, expand, and maintain a robust network of core bulk carriers across tank truck, pneumatic, and ISO tank capacity.
• Proactively research databases, identify target carriers, and conduct cold calls to source new capacity.
• Negotiate competitive rates and contract terms to maximize gross margin while maintaining service quality.

Operational Execution & Tracking
• Match available bulk freight with qualified carrier capacity in a timely, cost effective manner.
• Schedule precise pickup and delivery appointments, accounting for transit constraints, weather, traffic, and hours of service rules.
• Maintain real time tracking and continuous communication with carriers and customers to proactively manage route changes or transit delays.

Compliance & Safety Oversight
• Adhere strictly to industry protocols, safety regulations, and Responsible Care standards specific to bulk and liquid transportation.
• Ensure carrier qualification standards, insurance requirements, and safety compliance parameters are met prior to dispatch.

Data & Financial Integrity
• Accurately input, maintain, and update load details and carrier information within the transportation management system.
• Oversee back end billing, rate confirmation audits, and invoice validation to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of direct bulk transportation experience, specifically tank truck, pneumatic, or ISO tanks.
• Proven track record in carrier sales, dispatching, or freight brokerage within the logistics industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience securing carrier capacity under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, decision making, and problem solving abilities.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and freight databases.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent military or work experience.
• 3+ years of general logistics and transportation experience.
• Familiarity with Responsible Care, DOT safety compliance, and bulk freight handling standards.
• Self-starter capable of exercising sound judgment and operating independently in a fast-paced environment.
