What this role is about:
RapidSOS’s Summer Internship program is a full-time, fully immersive internship program designed to complement your education with real-world experience. This program will allow you to take on projects at a rapidly growing start-up, working closely and cross-functionally with leaders throughout the company. This is an amazing opportunity to not only join a rising and dynamic startup but also make a measurable impact. 

As an intern within our Strategy & Operations team, you will contribute to our mission by engaging in research and quantitative analysis, exploring new business verticals, and identifying partnership opportunities for RapidSOS. This internship is an amazing opportunity to develop your skills in a hands-on environment, work at a growing startup, and to understand the critical impact of growth strategy on scaling and empowering our teams at the forefront of industry innovation.

What you’ll do: 

  • Conduct research and analysis on variety of topics to support the growth of RapidSOS
  • Analyze and evaluate new opportunities along with creating supporting documents (e.g. slide decks, memos, Excel models, etc.) 
  • Support market & territory analysis, market & competitive intelligence, and pricing efforts
  • Own a project (or multiple!) from start to finish alongside your mentor
  • Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects and analyses 

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: 

  • Actively working towards a Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, depending on the nature of the work
  • Highly self-motivated with tons of initiative
  • Ability and appetite to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Laser-sharp attention to detail, organized, and a high standard for excellence
  • No ego - our team believes in “purpose over pride” where no task is beneath us
  • Operates with urgency and thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Ideally has the abiity and willingness to be in person at our NYC office 5x/week

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The compensation range for this role is $800 per week.
