What this role is about:

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between product innovation and customer needs to deliver impactful solutions? At RapidSOS, we’re transforming public safety with AI-driven technology that empowers first responders and 911 telecommunicators to save lives and improve outcomes in emergencies.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define and execute marketing strategies that connect our innovative technology with the evolving needs of public safety professionals. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product, sales, and the field to create impactful messaging, drive go-to-market initiatives, and ensure our solutions resonate with the needs of the public safety community. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our products and users, craft compelling content for our field teams, and foster cross-functional alignment to deliver clear and effective messaging. If you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, enjoy working collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions that save lives, and are excited about translating technical capabilities into real-world impact, this is the opportunity to make a tangible difference where every second matters!

What you’ll do:

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for our public safety and enterprise software products.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that resonate with public safety or enterprise professionals, emphasizing product value and differentiation.
  • Track the competitive landscape and maintain a current point of view on how RapidSOS differentiates, translating that into positioning guidance the field can actually use in a sales conversation.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to understand product functionality and translate product functionality into field-ready language. Build the AI-assisted content workflows that keep that translation current as the product evolves.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align product messaging and field enablement efforts.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within RapidSOS, advocating for public safety’s needs in product and marketing discussions.
  • Influence product roadmap and marketing priorities by bringing a clear, evidence-backed point of view on what target customers and prospects need.
  • Develop and evangelize AI workflows, prompt libraries, and content templates that expand what the broader PMM and GTM team can produce independently, reducing bottlenecks and raising the floor on output quality across the org

Field Enablement

  • Create and deliver training materials, sales enablement collateral, and messaging frameworks to empower Sales and Customer Success teams, using AI-assisted workflows that reduce time-to-first-draft and keep materials current as messaging evolves.
  • Support field teams with impactful storytelling, ensuring they are equipped to communicate the value of RapidSOS solutions to public safety audiences.

Insights & Feedback Loops

  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback from the field, customers, and public safety stakeholders to inform product and marketing strategies, leveraging AI workflows to make processes more repeatable.
  • Continuously refine product messaging and positioning based on data insights and real-world feedback.

This role covers the full scope of product marketing at RapidSOS. In practice, ownership will be divided across audiences and workstreams as the team grows, but the ideal candidate is someone who can operate across all of it and help us figure out where to specialize.

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing or product roles, including a minimum of 4 years with responsibilities in product marketing in B2B SaaS or B2G environments.
  • Builder Mentality: You have a bias for action and have built a thing, not just contributed to it. Content libraries, launch checklists, messaging systems, RFP templates. You've created infrastructure that other people rely on after you've moved on to the next problem.
  • Execution discipline: You produce field-ready work under pressure, without waiting for perfect information or a fully staffed team. Ambiguity doesn't stall you.
  • AI fluency: You're already using AI tools to do real work — writing first drafts, building prompt libraries, systematizing content production. You have saved workflows and templates you built yourself, and you're looking for a place to take that further.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal instincts, externally and internally. You keep projects structured, stakeholders informed, and know when to escalate rather than absorb.
  • Cross-functional Influence: You've sat in enough sales calls and product reviews to translate in both directions, and both sides trust you because of it. When messaging is drifting or a launch isn't ready, you say so and make it stick.
  • Data-Driven: You know which numbers actually matter and which ones just look good in a slide. You use customer data, field feedback, and sales signals to build a case and know when the data is telling you to change course.
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable going deep with Product and Engineering, and equally comfortable pulling back to write something a skeptical, time-pressed buyer will actually finish reading.

Travel: Ability and willingness for occasional travel (<10%)

Nice-to-have experience (but not required!):

  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Experience producing product-focused content for trade shows or industry conferences, where the audience is skeptical and the window is short.
  • Experience with a wide audience range. You've written for and presented to meaningfully different audiences (front-line staff, executives, technical teams, etc.) and know how to adjust your approach for each.

What we offer:

  • The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally
  • Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation
  • A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
