Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.

YOUR ROLE:

RAPP is seeking a Copywriter who brings strong conceptual thinking, highly developed writing skills, and the ability to craft copy across a range of tones, voices, and channels. You will push the boundaries of creative excellence while ensuring the delivery of work that drives meaningful results. Collaboration will be key as you work with creative partners and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and innovative ideas.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Comprehension: Fully understand and interpret briefs, self-start on execution, and connect the dots across multiple projects or channels.
  • Ideation: Develop fresh, inclusive, and engaging concepts with thoughtful rationales that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Craft & Execution: Continuously refine your writing skills while producing polished, on-brand copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Iteration & Elevation: Propose multiple creative solutions to challenges, iterating based on feedback, and elevating the work to exceed expectations.
  • Directing & Managing: Confidently manage your workflow and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Storytelling & Selling: Craft compelling narratives, manifestos, and messaging that sell ideas internally and externally with clarity and persuasion.
  • Business Contribution: Own parts of projects, ensuring on-time, on-brief delivery while contributing to the agency’s growth and client success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write compelling, clear, and creative copy for a variety of direct response media (email, direct mail, print, display, social, digital, TV, radio, and more).
  • Develop concepts and messaging that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Adapt tone and voice to reflect diverse brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with creative partners, strategists, and project managers to ensure cohesive creative execution.
  • Present work to internal teams and clients, articulating the thought process and strategy behind your ideas.
  • Incorporate feedback seamlessly while maintaining the integrity of your creative vision.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and audience behaviors to inform your work.
  • Manage workflow efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering on time and within scope.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in all copy, adhering to brand guidelines and quality standards.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: 2-5 years of copywriting experience, with a portfolio showcasing produced work across channels (DM, EM, print, display, social, digital).
  • Copy Craft: Strong ability to adapt tone, voice, and style to suit diverse brands and audiences, with exceptional attention to detail and editing skills.
  • Creative Thinking: A knack for connecting insights with ideas to develop fresh, original concepts.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and sell ideas effectively.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, with respect for diverse perspectives and a commitment to inclusivity.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Google Workspace. Experience with Keynote, Adobe Acrobat, and Figma is a plus. Curiosity about and interest in experimenting with AI tools is encouraged.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

For more information regarding Omnicom benefits, please visit www.omnicombenefits.com. A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role, at the time of posting, is $65,000 - $75,000. This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
