THE ROLE

As a Senior Account Director within the Adaptation Team for our luxury automotive client, you are taking a lead role in the Adaptation Delivery stream for the Global Content Hub.  You will be driving 33 markets to adopt global ways of working, tools, processes and new technologies, whilst working closely with the Global Content Hub. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Day-to-day operational oversight
  • Reporting & QA Responsibility
  • Managing daily relationships with the Global Content Hub client, markets and the Central Team (EC)
  • Adaptation process roll-out and operational excellence
  • Governing Adaptation Hub processes and escalations
  • Supporting on any Transformation projects

You will be reporting into the VP, Marketing Orchestration (Production stream)

Specific Responsibilities:

Client relationships:

  • Lead client relationship for all Business Units
  • Support on global client relationship for Adaptation & Hub BAU
  • Support on Adaptation Transformation client relationship, where needed

Adaptation Hub Management:

  • Lead all adaptation processes within the Chennai Hub including improvements and roll-out
  • Be the point of escalation for any adaptation challenges and local market escalations across BUs
  • Support to other departments with production-related queries and projects

Local Market & Central Team (EC) Governance:

  • Oversee Content & Adaptation market governance
  • Be the point of escalation for any challenges within local market, and the Central Team (EC)
  • Attend & lead any market Content & Adaptation workshops

Reporting

  • Lead and deliver all Adaptation reporting
  • Lead on client reporting queries and any requirements to streamline
  • Support on reporting consolidation and any dashboard tasks

Adaptation Production Consultancy within team x

  • Support on driving Adaptation knowledge across the wider business
  • Support to ensure Production and Adaptation are involved/included and input in all Performance Content and Martech streams
  • Lead and drive adaptation knowledge & processes conversations
  • Ensure Production and Adaptation are consulted
  • Ensure effective liaison, support and assistance between all departments of the organisation regarding any Adaptation topics

Team Management

  • Develop/ mentor/appraise of team line reports (3x SAMs)
  • Day-to-Day team support
  • Oversee of all projects and deliveries for Adaptation
  • Manage team delivery to agreed scope and budget to ensure account profitability

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Solid experience as an Account Director in digital production and content development with a track record in digital, social, and data-driven marketing projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of production processes across digital and more traditional communications, strategic understanding of off and on-shore Hub operating models, and the ability to liaise at a senior level with clients, and wider colleagues.
  • Experience working in Global/Local operating models with adaptation and orchestration of centrally produced assets.
  • Proven experience in leading large projects while managing internal teams and senior client stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in project management skills
  • Experience in working with and managing the requirements of culturally diverse market teams, responsible for training, presenting ways of working and developing processes. 
  • A solid understanding of the strategy and creative process
  • Experience in team management
  • You will be flexible and adaptable and have a demonstrable eye for detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative, curious, innovative, and ambitious
  • Automotive experience is a bonus but not a must-have
