Associate - Business Operations

Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

About Razorpay’s Checkout:

Razorpay Checkout launched as one of our 10x differentiators across our Payments offering. Built on the principles of B2B2C with the northstar to reduce abandoned carts and to improve conversions in the checkout journey, this has helped merchants across SME, Enterprises and freelancers increase their net revenue. This suite touches 100m+ end consumers annually and we are looking to build further on this stack to keep this as our 10x differentiator Some of the recent innovations on this product were showcased in the keynote of our annual conference Razorpay FTX. This role is to build a large new initiative that can help merchants uplift conversion as well as drive traffic to the Checkout stack.


Job Summary:

● Work closely with the Sales, Customer Success, Product, Integrations Support, Tech Support and other teams to support their business operation requests to drive merchants and Razorpay outcomes
● Support the sales team while onboarding a new merchant by managing configurations on internal and external systems and work closely with internal teams such as Activations and Operations Team for other onboarding and configuration processes
● Coordinate with other teams like Banking, Finance, Support, Integration and Tech for identifying a solution and resolving merchant queries
● Own end-to-end communication with the merchant and support in solving queries such as creating manual order reports, reconciling orders, tracking payment statuses etc.

Minimum requirements:

● Experience of 2 to 3 years in sales operations role preferably within the payments industry
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Able to drive customer centricity in the team
● Quick learner who can navigate through a dynamic ecosystem
