Associate Director - Enterprise Sales
Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
The Role:
This role is a key enabler to help Razorpay’s merchant ecosystem become successful by using loyalty and rewards to target cardholders for acquisition and distribute offers to increase transactions. In particular, this role owns the global rewards ecosystem in multiple form factors from thousands of merchants - discount offers, gift cards, memberships, reward points and cashback. Our ideal candidate has relevant experience in forging strategic alliances, and demonstrated P&L ownership of rewards, offers and gift cards.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the Merchant Alliances team to forge strategic alliances and partnerships with a wide range of merchants and retailers across geographies and across categories and industries.

Own merchant rewards P&L. Drive rewards aggregation in multiple form factors (discount offers, gift cards, memberships, merchant-funded reward points or cashback and more) and rewards distribution through multiple publishing channels.

Demonstrate rewards performance to key merchant partners on a monthly/quarterly basis. Monitor sales/redemptions and take required action to drive offtake.

Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales of GVs/Memberships and offers offtake.. Own initiatives end to end, work with cross functional teams, optimize, execute and deliver campaigns.

Design and implement tactical offers and rewards programs/campaigns for each Customer (Bank or Payment Network) with a goal to increase share of spends in each merchant partner associated in the campaigns.

Maintain and build on the catalog for all merchant rewards, and maximize cost-per-sale commission revenue.
Mandatory Qualifications:

8+ Years of overall experience of which 4+ years in the Partnerships / Business Development / Sales space focused around merchants from categories like E-Commerce, Omnichannel Retail, Travel, Wellness, etc.

Demonstrated ability to source rewards, onboard gift card partners, merchant-funded deals and offers and working closely with merchants to increase distribution and transactions / redemptions - related metrics.

Project management experience and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and competing priorities.

Great written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively on multiple external and internal Business requirements.

High energy team player with demonstrated ability to forge deep relationships with multiple stakeholders across marquee merchant accounts and driving revenue.

Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers, MIS.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment

Analytical capability to deal with the technical, contractual, and financial aspect of the business.

Ability to effectively think strategically and influence cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Solutions, Product etc. so as to have the required prioritization accorded. Willing to travel to meet with merchants / banks.
