Manager - HRBP

Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India. 

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

The Role: 

As a HRBP, you will ensure the well-being of every person at Razorpay within the Business Units you handle, while also designing interventions that help us scale faster. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Should conduct all HR initiatives for example, Rewards and Recognition activities and coordinate with other stakeholders for operational and logistic tasks such as informing Payroll, HR operations Team etc.
  • Should conduct regular town hall, surveys, career discussions, fun and engagement activities for the business and manage the end-to-end operational tasks. Engage and liaise with the vendors and the business to ensure the objective is met. This includes month/quarterly or yearly fun and engagement activities
  • Should help in reporting and sharing customized Dashboards/reports to the business which include call outs for the month via metrics etc.
  • Should conduct all types of interviews (Selection, Exit, Stay, etc.) and people connect as well (one on ones/FGDs, etc.)
  • Help with the administration of the annual and mid-year cycle
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the company on HR issues.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.

Mandatory Qualifications: 

 

  • 4+ years relevant experience.
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders and other vendor partners. 
  • Confident, organized and to execute quickly.
  • Strong communicator with good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently 
  • Aptitude in problem solving.
  • Coach and influence to achieve business results
  • Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward and downward.
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company
  • Good understanding and usage of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint presentation, Excel, and Word)
