Associate Manager - Business Operations
Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager - Business Management & Sales Strategy to join the Razorpay Capital team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic business planning, P&L, and stakeholder management to achieve revenue and operational targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general management, consulting, finance/banking, or a related field, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage external partnerships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Planning & Analysis:
- Basic financial analysis, projections, and business planning to guide decision-making
- Formulating strategy with business and product leaders to achieve business goals
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights to leadership
Strategy Implementation
- Execute business plans to support strategic initiatives and revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business, product, and partnership teams to align objectives and remove blockersBuild and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banking partners and operational teams.
Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with operations, partnership and sales teams to enhance processes and optimize efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement strategies for improvement
.Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets for Razorpay Capital.
- Define the sales roadmap and align with product teams to ensure market-fit solutions.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Owner mindset to drive plans to execution with cross-functional teams
- Experience in consulting, business management, or sales strategy, preferably in the fintech or banking sector.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- High energy with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Expertise in roadmap creation, quarterly target planning, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with external stakeholder dynamics, particularly with banking operations.
- Proficiency in financial tools, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, and data analysis platforms
