The Role:
In this role, the person would be responsible for the cross-border charter for Razorpay. This will include export payments, import payments, LRS, and other initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for generating and qualifying leads in customer segments requiring cross-border payment solutions like e-commerce exporters, service providers, freelancers etc.
  • Develop new lead generation opportunities for direct selling as well as building partner relations
  • Effectively pitch and acquire new customers for Razorpay’s cross border payment solutions
  • Execute the business development plan; achieve and exceed the targeted sales goals
  • Coordinate with multiple teams like banking, marketing and product within the organization for achieving the required goals
  • Identify new verticals for market expansion in the cross-border fintech space
  • Contribute and work for business development activities like conducting sales events, webinars, classroom sessions
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Business Development/Account Management/ Sales Experience preferably within payments industry
  • Experience in Payments Industry/Banking/Fintech is a must
  • Experience in Cross Border payments Industry in Fintech or Banking is a Plus
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with external clients as well as internal stakeholders. Must possess intense customer focus
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results through influence and negotiation
